The Truth of FriendshipTime invariably goes on, there is no end, only the intersection. Could you imagine what you will be after twenty years? Could you believe your best friend still keep in touch with you, accompany you and give you her or his heart after twenty years?

 Watching the two movies really gave me food for thought. When I read the article titled after twenty years, I didn’t think about it deeply, not founding any bug, as a result of which I was surprised about the ending. However, I could find some clues from the actor’s expression when watching the two movies. Of course I paid attention to their expression on purpose, through which I would judge a character. The difference between the article and movies for me is that I can guess and forecast what will happen through the actor’s minor expression when watching movies, but there is nothing I can do if the writer isn’t willing to let me know more when reading. So watching the two movies gave me an opportunity to get access to the main character’s inner world full of pain, unwillingness or other complicated emotion. 

Twenty years witnessed better or worse change. Anything can change but friendship. I don’t want to care for the saying——there are no permanent friends only permanent interests. At least, I still believe there exists forever friends and pure love. After all, I’m young and look forward to beauty.

Life is more complex than movie and article. There are no rehearsals only living shows every day. Maybe the dilemma, choice and challenge we meet in real life are more difficult than Jimmy’s. Not having extremely right or wrong, you will satisfy yourself when you make a decision because of your sincerity of friendship. One of the truths of friendship is to teach each other to face everything bravely like Jimmy chose to send Bob into prison. 

If your beloved friend kills a person accidentally, what will you do? In the movie——Better Days, the boy who loved the girl dearly decided to replace charges in case that the girl would be thrown into prison, while the policeman, the girl’s friend, tried to persuade the girl to bear legal responsibility. The policeman knew the girl also loved the boy sincerely. She would live with misery forever if the boy were sentenced to death. Not only could he stick to police principle, but also he could protect his friend in his way. Better Days reminded me of both article and movies named After Twenty Years and I thought about the truth of friendship again.

Maybe the others think we are pushing our friend into the abyss, but he or she is my best friend, we just hope that he or she will face everything valorously. Although our friend will account the chilly of life, he or she also will grow and learn to fight with any suffering. As a friend, what we should do is to accompany, encourage, give his or her our hands and even lead him or her to admit mistakes. Of course we shouldn’t replace our friend to make decisions, so just give advice, or we will be a crimee in the name of love.

My dear friend, please face bravely. I will be your shoulder.
