If I am on a small island, I would invite Bear Grylls to go with me because he is brave, clever and most experienced in surviving on island. He knows how to make fire, tools, foods and how to protect himself from wild animals.

Once we arrived on the small island, firstly we need to climb up a higher stand to have a glance and do a rough explore on the island. We need to know how large it is, and if there is any water sources, trees or animals.

Secondly, we need to find some food sources to make sure we’re not hungry. We can find a good hunting field, and set some traps. We can go fishing around the island. A good way is to build a barrier with stones, and leave a funnel-shaped gap in the middle. Fish come in at high tide and stay in at low tide. We also need grow crops by ourselves. We need try to find some bird’s feces, because normally there are undigested seeds in the bird’s feces. Drinking water is necessities to survive. It is better to dig a well, and ensure getting plenty of fresh water.

Thirdly, we need to build a house, because a tent can only protect us for a few days. We need a strong house to survive for the year. A solid wooden house is the best choice on the island. We can also prepare a small house to store food, wood, tools, so that we won’t have to go all the way every time.

This is my survival plan on the small island. why I would invite Bear Grylls to go with me? Because Bear is a real talent in all these areas.
